What will my kid learn?

During our summer dance camp near Westminster, Colorado, students get to learn 4 different aerial dance apparatuses over the course of a week. This includes aerial silks, hoop (lyra), trapeze, and sling (hammock!). Every day of the week students learn 2 different apparatuses. This means they get to learn aerial dance tricks on each apparatus at least times! Aerial silks tend to be the most popular aerial apparatus. Therefore, we do more time on this throughout the week. Camp is ideal for those with no aerial dance experience, or less than 1 year. It is $250/week and open to ages 6 through teen. More info and registration can be found here!

Client Testimonial

We found ACOD through Aerial Dance Colorado and are so happy we did! We’ve been trying to find non-competitive dance based summer camps for my dancer daughter who is burnt out on all the competition lately. She loves dance and the environment, but wanted a little more “fun” during the summer. This camp was PERFECT as it built her strength, maintained flexibility, and more importantly for her, she had a great time. It was a reprieve from her hectic schedule. We will be back next season!

My kid is an aerial beginner and was a little nervous coming in being that campers can have up to 1 year aerial experience. Although weeks may differ, her experience was great! All the kids were brand new except for 1 who took a camp last year. To me, the half day option didn’t seem that long but she came home exhausted each day lol. I guess it’s hard work to be climbing and doing tricks for that long!
