Learn Aerial Acrobatics at Denver’s Premier Circus Gym!
Adult Dance Classes in Denver
Looking for a different fitness routine that is FUN and unique? Aerial dance is a perfect combo of strength and flexibility training! Aerial dance is “trick based”. This means instead of repetitive movements like traditional fitness, in aerial dance you’ll be working on skills. For example, you’ll learn how to climb the aerial silks. You’ll also learn a trick on the trapeze and lyra called “person in the moon,” which involves tucking under the bar and pulling up to sitting. These skills are challenging for the core and arms (aka – workout) but also unique and fun (aka – you don’t feel like you’re “working out”!)
What is it and what will I learn?
Our Aerial Basics 8-week intro series is for folks new to aerial dance (or with experience long ago). This is an 8 week session where you’ll work through a progressive curriculum with adult peers (no teens!). We value teaching in 8 week session blocks as our instructors can offer a progressive curriculum to the same group of students. With drop in classes and new/different students every week this is hard to achieve. In the session we focus on aerial silks, but you’ll also learn dance trapeze, lyra (hoop), and sling (hammock). Aerial silks tends to be the most popular apparatus!
After 1 basics session most students are able to move onto an intermediate level class. Our intermediate classes are apparatus specific or we have multi-apparatus classes. This means after aerial basics you can specialize in 1 apparatus, or do a multi-apparatus class!
I don’t have much upper body strength, can I do it?
YES! Very few people come into aerial dance with a lot of upper body strength and flexibility. This is built over time and with consistent practice. Most our adult students come in brand new to the sport. Aerial dance is suitable for any age, any body type, and any level of fitness. Of course, some level of flexibility and strength is helpful, but not a prerequisite. We do not have a weight limit. We are strong believers that aerial is for any-body.

This studio is fantastic! I love the 8-week sessions because it really allows you to progress more quickly when there are students coming consistently to class as opposed to random new drop-ins all the time. The teachers are very talented and I appreciate that the studio is always clean and following mask regulations for everyone’s safety. I would 100% recommend this studio to anyone interested in learning aerial or seasoned aerialists as well! – Cassandra
So thankful to this amazing facility and the wonderful people that I’ve had the honor of learning from and talking to here! They just moved into a beautiful new space and it’s obvious how much passion everyone who teaches, and goes here, has for aerial arts. I just got back into it after a long break and the quality of instruction is phenomenal, as well as the communication in every aspect. Highly recommended!
