Mechler, Katherine

Katherine began her aerial training in 2022 and quickly fell in love with the artistry and storytelling possible through aerial dance. Drawing on her background in dance and performance, she is especially passionate about musicality, theatricality, and creating emotionally engaging work in the air.

After completing ACOD’s ACE-certified Level 1/2 Teacher Training in 2024, Katherine stepped into coaching with a focus on helping students build confidence, performance quality, and authentic artistic voice.

In 2025, Katherine left the corporate world to pursue a full-time career in the performing arts community both onstage and behind the scenes. In addition to coaching and performing throughout the Denver aerial arts scene, she leads ACOD’s Youth Student Company and helps develop youth programming and aerial productions.
