Drop in Classes and Open Gyms

While our program is session based, we do offer a couple of drop-in options. We do suggest registering in advance in order to ensure a spot!

Drop In Aerial Dance Classes

We offer a weekly drop-in aerial dance class at the North Studio location on Saturdays. Minimum age is 6yo. Cost is $32. It is a great opportunity to try an aerial class! However, it is not age and level specific. Meaning, there will likely be folks of all ages and various levels each class. This makes a progressive curriculum difficult and we don’t teach this class progressively like we do our session based aerial classes. The intent of the drop in class is for our session make ups, and folks who want to try it out once or twice before committing to a full session. The full sessions will be a much more tailored experience to specific ages and levels!

We also offer ground/aerial mixed Flexibility Conditioning class on Thursdays 730-830pm w/ Kara.
Class is appropriate for 16yo+ (with coach approval) & cost is $32. 

Why Aerial Sessions?

We teach in a progressive manner where student’s learn more, and quicker, with a group of peers! Drop in classes are difficult to maintain an appropriate curriculum that is new and challenging for everyone as there are generally different people in class every week with this policy. Our session based classes are highly recommended if you’re interested in progressing quicker, and safer, with the same group of peers. 

Session-based classes by age:

Preschool | Youth (6-8yo) | Pre-teen (9-12) | Teen (13-17) | Adult (18+ only)|

We offer a variety of classes for all ages and all levels. We have classes for the aerial beginner. You will learn silks, trapeze, hoop, and hammock. We have separate classes for youth and adult students! We also offer intermediate and advanced aerial classes. In these classes you can specialize in 1 or more apparatuses. For example, we offer silks only classes, or multi-apparatus classes.

Aerial Open Gyms

Come train the skills you have been working on all week!

Thursdays 4-5pm (Aerial & Cyr)
Fridays 430-530pm Youth only! (ages 9-17)
Fridays 530-630pm (Aerial & Cyr) 
Sundays 12-1pm (Aerial only)
 

Open Gym Policies:

  • You need to sign up for class at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise, if no one is signed up 24 hours prior to open gym, the instructor will not be there to proctor.
  • If you are more than 30 minutes late and the only one scheduled, the instructor will also leave.
  • There is a 24 hour cancelation policy. Please note there is no refund in these cases. 

Open Gym Rules:

  • No drops are allowed during open gym. No exceptions, you will be asked to leave.
  • Open gym is a time for current students to practice skills on their own which they have learned in our classes. Trying new moves you are learning online, etc, is never permitted and you will be asked to leave.
  • Teaching others during open gym is not permitted due to safety and you will be asked to leave.
  • Must be a currently enrolled and attending adult ACOD student (16yo+ w/ coach approval).
  • Visiting/new students are required to send a video for pre-screening. An instagram link is fine.
