How do I sign up?

Please email us (dance@aerialcirqueoverdenver.com) with some good days/times you can do a lesson(s), and what apparatus(es) you want to focus on.We will then reach out to our instructor pool to find an available coach.

Please know we need at least 24-48 hours to schedule a lesson via email. Private lessons can’t be scheduled via MindBody!

Generally, the studio space is unavailable Mon-Thurs between 5 and 9pm due to regularly scheduled studio classes. Weekday mornings (though not in the summer due to camps), afternoons, and Friday’s are generally available, as are the weekends.

Once we confirm a date and instructor we do require full payment to hold the studio and instructors time. We will email you for specific information on payment.

Cancelation Policy

Private lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled class without a fee. You must email us to cancel. If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the lesson we need to pay the instructor for their (lost) teaching time. Therefore, we do charge the full private lesson cost for cancelations with less than 24 hours notice.

Illness Policies

Our private lessons follow the studio Illness policy protocol. Please note although you may be sharing the space with another class or private lesson, during private lessons you always have your own apparatus, you will not be sharing an apparatus (except with the coach for demo purposes)!

Minors Policy

We adhere to the “3 sets of eyes” American Circus Educators policy, which is designed to prevent harassment, grooming, and other issues by ensuring multiple people are always present in the room with minors. Starting October 1, 2024, all youth private lessons will require an additional person to be in the room, such as a parent or older sibling.

Additional Info

  • Comfortable, form fitting clothes are best for aerial dance. Leggings and full coverage tops are best to avoid rope burn!
  • Jewelry should never be worn. This is because it can snag and tear the fabric. We will ask you to remove all jewelry before participating.
  • Aerial is done barefoot, so any shoes/socks worn into the studio is fine.
  • Aerial is hard!! To improve quicker, consider adding a group class.
