At Aerial Cirque Over Denver camps, your child will learn how to be a circus acrobat! They offer half-day and full-day camp options. Campers will learn tricks on 4 different apparatuses over the course of the week, including aerial silks, trapeze, hoop, and hammock. Very small student-staff ratios (8:1). Camp is for ages 6 and above. The half-day camps are $300. The 2026 summer camps run from June 1 to August 4.
Curious Jane

What makes Curious Jane unique? It’s a co-ed camp that empowers through science, engineering, and design! They offer different themes each week based on age, with skills including graphic design, art techniques, and science. Camp is for 1st to 6th grade, and a C.I.T. program for those entering 7th to 9th grades. Their camps start at 8:30 am and end at 3:00 pm. Camp weeks include June 15 through July 31. The week of July 3rd, with no camp the week of June 29! Their full-day camps cost $595 per week, while their C.I.T. program costs $495 per week.
Cheyenne Fencing Society & Modern Pentathlon Center of Denver

In this unique weekly camp at the Cheyenne Fencing Society, kiddos learn the basics of fencing, including conditioning, footwork, drills, and bouting! The Storybook Theatre is for ages 4 to 7, Creative Kids & Performance camp (5+), Game, Hogwarts, & Marvel (7+), Cosplay (9+), theatre intensive & stage makeup (11+). Each of these camps takes place in a different week (some themes are offered more than 1 week), so you’ll need to plan based on your kiddos’ age. Camps also vary in terms of morning (9 am to noon), afternoon (1 to 4pm), or full day, such as the Hogwarts and stage makeup (9 am to 4 pm). Join one of Denver’s most acclaimed youth theatre camps at Wolf Theatre Academy! In these multi-week camp programs, students will develop acting, singing, and dancing techniques that culminate in a performance at the Elaine Wolf Theatre! Camps are divided into “Pluss Camps” (grades 4-7) and “Mainstage Camps” (grades 8 to 12). Pluss Camps are 2 weeks in duration (June 8, July 6, July 20) and $950 per camp. Mainstage Camps are 3 weeks (June 8 to 28 or July 6 to 26) and cost $1250. Each camp learns a different play or musical. This year, Pluss Camps features No Body to Murder, Alice in Wonderland Jr., and Shrek the Musical Jr., while Mainstage Camps features Once upon a Mattress and Beetlejuice. Avid4 Adventure camps are perfect for the kiddo who thrives on adventure! Depending on age, campers can learn a variety of outdoor skills, including biking, paddling (SUP), survival skills, and rock climbing. Notably, there are a lot of “expedition” style camps that leave from locations other than Central Park and have overnight options. Presented here are just the local Central Park, Denver options.
K to 1st graders (5 and above) can participate in an explorer camp, which involves hiking, paddling, biking & other creative skills like yoga, art, and music. Morning camp runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The camp is $680 for a week, from June 8 through August 7. Second to seventh graders can join the adventure camp or the survival skills camp. This is a 1-week camp that runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and is $680 for a week, starting on June 8 and ends at August 7.
Urban Farm

Urban Farm has a lot of camp options depending on your kiddos’ age, but all involve meeting farm animals! Storybook Farm Camp is for ages 4 to 5. Each day, kiddos will learn about a different part of the farm, such as poultry, cows, goats, sheep, horses, pollinators, composting, and gardening. The half-day option (9 am to noon) is $300, and the full day (9 am to 3 pm) is $500. Older kids have separate camps based on age (6 to 7 years old, 8 to 9 years old, and 10 to 13 years old) and get to participate in more depth with the farm’s day-to-day operations and animal care. ISDenver has many, many, many (!) camp offerings for ages 3 to 14 (different camps for different ages). We put them in the academic section here as they instruct many camps in multiple languages! For example, the “Dinosaur Adventures!” (ages 3 and 4) camp is offered in French, Chinese, and Spanish. Themes range from STEM to circus arts. Not all camps are offered in a different language, but many are. Camps are offered for all ages from June 8 to August 7. Every week has different options and different age ranges (and is a 39-page document – linked below), so this one is hard to consolidate! Easily see the ages and themes each week in their summer camp program offerings document. All camps take the whole day (8:30 am to 3:30 pm) and vary in cost from $355 to $695, depending on activity.
Rick’s Center for Gifted Children at the University of Denver

Summer at Rick’s offers a STEAM-based summer enrichment program for Pre-Kinder to 8th grade. Students immerse themselves in innovative, hands-on experiments in areas such as science, art, engineering, and math. Themes vary by age but include topics like “Jedi + Minecraft Lego”. Camps are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (before/aftercare available) and are broken into age groups (PreK to Kinder, 1st to 3rd grade, and 4th to 6th grade). Weekly cost varies slightly, with all camps between $369 and $575. The 1st to 3rd grade ages have a camp offering on June 29 and July 6, while the 4th to 6th grades have 3 separate camps on June 15, June 22, June 29, and July 6.

At Camp Tech Revolution, there are over 60 camps with themes, such as robotics, coding, game design, Minecraft, Roblox, content creation for YouTube, digital art, spy tech, and more! Camps are 9 am to 3 pm (before/aftercare available) and run from June 8th through August 14th. There are offerings for ages 6 to 14, but each week, the theme differs. This is another hard one to consolidate with the vast array of offerings by age and interest, so it’s best to check directly. Price ranges from $699 to $899 per week.
Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum

Take a trip to Mars, fly drones, learn about deep space travel, and a whole lot more at the Air and Space Summer Camp at Wings Over the Rockies! Camps are for kiddos 8 to 12, and the theme varies weekly, such as rockets and drones or Aerospace art & 3D design. They run from 9 am to 3 pm and are $399 per week. Camps are offered June 1st through August 7th.

Colorado Academy also has a lot of camp options! Not all are academic, but they do specifically offer “Academic & Exploratory” camps for ages Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade. Examples include artificial intelligence, beginning speech and debate, beginning chess, math & reading, and more. Camps are broken into similar age groups, but the theme varies per week. Depending on the camp, there are half-day options (9 am to noon or 12:30 to 3:30 pm) or full day (9 am to 3:30 pm). With a variety of options, this is another hard one to consolidate as every camp is offered on different week(s). Prices range widely from $310 per week to $1,500 (multi-week), depending on the camp and duration. Camps are offered June 8th through July 31st.

At Steve & Kate’s Camps, kids are in charge! What?! You read that correctly – in this environment, campers ages 5 to 12 get to choose what they want to do minute by minute. There are lots of activity options such as media lab, sewing salon, bakery, water play, and more. Unlike most camps, you can also do single days, and you don’t need to schedule ahead of time. A day pass is $124 and $109 (for 15 and above) for 8 am to 6 pm. You can also purchase a full summer pass for $3,270 (for up to 49 camp days). Camp days run from June 8th through Aug 14th.
Camp Galileo
Lowry/Park Hill location: International School of Denver: High School Campus – Denver: 458 Uinta Way, Denver
Camp Galileo has programs for Kinders through 8th graders, and they have four Denver locations (other than Park Hill TBD). The hours are 9 am to 3 pm with before/aftercare available. The camp themes change weekly and run from the week of June 15 through July 31. Each 5-day camp ranges from $470 to $540. Campers participate in activities and projects that are age-appropriate and include: innovator’s studio (STEAM projects & more), idea lab (design challenges, such as building bamboo towers or constructing cardboard cities), and outdoor adventure. Your older kiddos (5th to 8th graders) also focus on a weeklong, specialized project.
Dream Big Day Camp

Dream Big Day Camp offers a wide variety of activities for campers, including sports, cooking, dance, yoga, gardening, rock climbing, arts and crafts, & more! This camp is for ages PreK through 11th grade (though 6th to 11th graders participate in a leadership-based program) and is broken into same-age groups. All camps are from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Safari camps at the Denver Zoo cater to Kinders through 9th graders. Campers are divided into the same age groups, and there is a different theme (for different age groups) every week. Themes range from “My Wild Home” (Kinder & 1st) to “Animal Care 101” (8th to 9th). Camps run weekly, June 5 through August 11, and are from 9 am to 4 pm. The 5-day camps are $310 per week. Denver Zoo members have the first opportunity to register (in January) before the general public.
Denver Museum of Nature and Science

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science (DMNS) offers full-day Summer Science Camps for children rising into grades K through 6 (campers must be at least 5 years old by their first day), with each week centered on a fun, science-based theme such as space exploration, paleontology, ecology, anatomy, and creative STEAM projects. Camps run Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. over multiple sessions from early June through early August, with most weeks priced at $375 for members and $410 for non-members, and a reduced rate of $300/$330 for the shorter Juneteenth week. Weekly themes vary by age group and involve hands-on experiments, museum exhibit exploration, and guided educational activities, and registration typically opens early in the year, with members getting priority access.
Denver Botanic Gardens

At the Denver Botanic Gardens, campers aged 6 to 12 discover the world of plants through art, science, gardening, and outdoor exploration. It should be noted that there are camps at both the Denver and Chatfield (Littleton) locations. We will only be covering Denver offerings. There are four 2026 camps offered at the Denver location (different dates for each camp). Life on the Farm (ages 8-12) runs from June 8 to 12 and July 6 to 10. Nocturnal 4-day camp (ages 6-8) runs from June 15 to 18. Nocturnal Nature (ages 6-12) runs July 13 and 17. Art on the Farm (ages 6-12) runs from June 22 to 26 and July 20 to 24. All camps are from 9 am to 4 pm and are $350 per week for 5-day camps. Garden members have the first opportunity to register (in January) before the general public.
